If an office cannot stop working during cleaning, the question becomes practical: which area is cleared at what time, and how long does it stay closed once cleared? Releasing areas in sequence: who clears what
Working in sequence means closing sections one by one, cleaning them, then returning them to use. For this to work, each section needs a named owner and staff need somewhere to sit meanwhile. The usual sticking points: desks still covered with paperwork and personal items; a meeting room booked for exactly that hour; wet floors that people must cross before they dry.
Sorting, filing or destroying documents and opening or repairing electronic equipment are not cleaning work. Screens, keyboards, phone systems and server cabinets have an intervention limit, so scope becomes clear once desktops are cleared by your own team. Marks that appear after glass cleaning
Not every mark visible after cleaning comes from the cleaning. Three different things can be seen at once: residue from water or detergent on the surface; a scratch or wear already present in the glass; and deterioration of a factory coating, applied film or anti-fog layer.
The first usually looks different once the surface is dry and the light angle changes. The other two cannot be told apart reliably by eye. Which face the scratch sits on, whether a coating exists, and which product may be used all require expert assessment and the manufacturer's care instructions. Home tests with a fingertip or nail are unreliable and can add new damage on coated glass. The sound approach is to review existing marks together in daylight before work starts, and not to trial a method on a surface whose instructions are unknown.
Where access ends on glass and frames
Scope depends less on square metres than on how the glass can be reached safely. Inward-opening sashes, fixed panes, high upper lights, narrow sills and closed frame profiles all lead to different outcomes.
