What Can the Cleaning Include?

The following tasks can form part of the agreed plan. They are not an identical package for every home. Please identify rooms that do not need cleaning, delicate belongings and areas where you would like particular attention.

Surface-Specific Methods and Working Order

Wood, laminate, natural stone, ceramic and painted finishes do not all tolerate the same products or moisture levels. Where the material or finish is uncertain, a controlled test on a small, inconspicuous area may be appropriate. Cleaning products should not be mixed.

The sequence may change around an occupied home. A kitchen still in use or a hallway needed for access can affect the order. If a surface does not tolerate the proposed method, the next step should be discussed rather than continuing an unsuitable treatment.

Preparation and Work Outside the Agreed Scope

Put away personal belongings, paperwork and small breakable objects so surfaces are accessible. Empty cupboard sections if interior cleaning has been agreed. Arrange a secure space for pets away from the work. Discuss water and electricity access, keys or who will be present, parking and building entry before the appointment.

Responsibility for supplying products and equipment is settled during planning. Mention any specialist care products or products you do not want used. Heavy furniture moving, dismantling items, repairs and waste removal are not automatically included. Risky work at height, leaning outside to reach glass and pool maintenance are not offered as part of this service.

Building dust, paint splashes or mortar residue may require a different scope. Discuss post-construction cleaning for renovation-related work, or empty apartment cleaning for an unfurnished property being prepared for occupation.

Realistic Expectations, Final Checks and Enquiries

Cleaning addresses dirt; it does not repair scratches, wear, discolouration or every embedded stain. Deteriorated sealant, worn grout and corrosion may need maintenance or repair. No permanent result, health outcome or complete stain removal is guaranteed. During the final review, remaining marks can be assessed as possible residue or surface damage.
