Picture a flat where the living room floor hasn't been swept for weeks, while the bathroom wall still carries a thin white film left from a tile replacement last month. These two kinds of soiling are not solved by the same job, and they rarely take the same amount of time. Before requesting a service in the Çağlayan neighbourhood of Antalya's Muratpaşa district, being able to describe which situation your home is closer to makes choosing the right scope much easier.
Renovation residue or accumulated everyday dirt?
Post-renovation dust is a fine material that stays suspended in the air and can reappear on surfaces a day after sweeping. Plaster, screed and cutting dust settles on top of cabinets, around sockets, between radiator fins and on curtain rails. Paint splashes, silicone smears or mortar residue belong to a separate heading that requires mechanical work, and the approach changes with the surface type.
Everyday dirt comes from regular use: kitchen grease, shoe marks, limescale and dust build-up. Both situations can exist in one home. If only the kitchen was renovated, that room may sit closer to post-construction cleaning while the remaining rooms fall under home cleaning. Saying this when you call allows equipment and timing to be planned accordingly.
Living areas and wet areas judged separately
In living areas the work mostly revolves around dust, floors and textiles. For fabric sofas the manufacturer's label needs to be read; where no label exists, the method and the suitability of upholstery washing cannot be settled without seeing the piece. In wet areas limescale, soap residue, grout and fittings come to the front. Priorities differ: bathrooms need longer dwell time and rinsing, living rooms need broader surface coverage.
If you notice dullness, a mark or a scratch, its cause cannot be confirmed by appearance alone — worn coating, leftover residue and permanent damage require an on-site expert assessment. Where the manufacturer's care instructions are unknown, no method can be assumed suitable in advance.
A short frame of the work offered
Home, office and workplace, post-construction, empty flat, apartment and residential common areas, villa, upholstery washing and glass cleaning. In offices, electronics and documents are not handled; in villas, pool maintenance is outside scope. Glass cleaning covers accessible panes and frames, with no promise of risky façade work. For empty flats, water and power access is discussed beforehand.
Check points before and after
- Before: note which rooms were renovated and when the work ended.
- Before: set aside items, artwork, electronics and fragile pieces you don't want touched.
- Before: state whether cabinet interiors, balconies or storage rooms are included.
- Before: mention water, electricity and lift availability.
- After: walk the space together, room by room, and make the wet areas a separate round.
- After: look above and below eye level — cabinet tops, behind radiators, door frames, window channels.
- After: point out any residue on the spot; assessing before surfaces dry gives a clearer picture.
When you make the request
Scope is discussed according to address and access conditions. CGS Temizlik, main address: Sütçüler Mahallesi 15 Temmuz Şehitler Cd No109/D Kepez/Antalya; phone 0537 4450191. For a flat, workplace or common area in Çağlayan, having the number of rooms and floors, the renovation status and whether the place is occupied or empty ready will shorten the call.
What should I look at during the final walkthrough?
Above and below eye level, and the wet areas once they have dried. Limescale and water marks become clearer after drying, so repeating the bathroom round a little later is useful.
The renovation is done — when should I book cleaning?
After rubble and coarse waste are removed and paint and silicone work is fully finished. Otherwise dust will settle again after the fine clean.
