After a window is wiped, the marks that appear when the light angle changes do not always mean the same thing. Sometimes a thin film is left on the inside; sometimes an untouched layer remains on the outer face. When glass cleaning is requested for a flat, a shop or a newly handed-over home in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi (Serik), the first thing to settle is this: which faces of the glass can be reached safely, and from where?

The two faces of a pane are not one job
The inner face can usually be worked on from inside the room. The outer face depends on how the window opens: if the sash swings fully inward, there may be an area reachable without leaning out. With fixed panels, narrow sashes, railings or balcony glazing the same does not apply. Risky facade work or suspended work at height is not undertaken. For this reason it is more accurate to talk about floors, rooms and window types instead of asking for "all the windows".
Surface condition is a second distinction. On coated, filmed or previously treated glass, no method can be considered suitable without knowing the manufacturer's care instructions. Scratches, permanent staining and coating wear can look alike; telling them apart requires an on-site expert assessment and is not a decision made while wiping.
Frames, tracks and seals: how far
Even a clean pane can show marks again quickly if debris stays in the track. So the frame profile, the track channel, the hinge area and the seal line are discussed separately. If there is dried mortar, paint splash or a hard crust in the track, that belongs to an after-construction cleaning approach, where dust is removed in stages and surface sensitivity is respected.
Living areas and wet rooms
Within the same home, kitchen and bathroom glass needs different preparation from living room glass. Wet rooms bring condensation, soap and limescale layers; kitchens bring a greasy film. Living areas are usually dust and handprints. Without this distinction, method and timing are planned wrongly. If the scope covers the whole flat, home cleaning is the clearer heading; in a multi-storey building with stairs where glass is part of the sequence, villa cleaning fits better.
The eight services in short
Home cleaning covers kitchen, bathroom and living areas. Office cleaning excludes electronics and documents. After-construction work separates coarse debris from fine cleaning. Empty flat cleaning covers cupboard interiors, bathroom, kitchen and floors, with water and power access checked. Apartment and site cleaning means stairs, landings and shared areas. Villa cleaning does not include pool care. Upholstery washing starts with the fabric label and carries no stain removal guarantee. Glass cleaning is limited to reachable panes.
Checks before and after the work
- Note the number of windows per floor and room, with the sash type.
- State whether only the inner face or both faces are wanted, and whether frames and tracks are included.
- Have details of any coating, film or special glazing, and its care instructions if available.
- Agree who will move furniture, curtains and pots standing in front of the windows.
- Check water and power access and that window handles are working.
- Review the panes in daylight from two different angles when the work ends.
- Confirm the track channels and seal lines were left as agreed in the scope.
What happens with panes that cannot be reached from outside?
If access is not safe, that face is left out of scope and this is said at the start. Reachable faces, frames and tracks are then agreed separately.
What do marks left after wiping mean?
A remaining mark may come from soiling or from the condition of the surface itself. That distinction is assessed on site; no definite diagnosis is given while cleaning.
