Picture two requests in the same flat. In the first, the kitchen and bathroom are gone over every week. In the second, a flat that has been closed for months is about to be used again. Both are called "cleaning", yet the preparation, the time needed and the work expected on site are completely different. When you look for help in the Sedir neighbourhood of Muratpaşa, Antalya, naming the scope correctly makes both the first phone call and the actual visit easier.
A repeating routine or a one-off deep pass?
Regular cleaning keeps the same defined areas from building up dirt: floors, kitchen counters, bathroom fittings, dusted surfaces. The aim is to hold a condition, not to restore one.
A one-off detailed clean targets what a routine skips: inside cupboards, tops of doors, skirting boards, cabinet fronts, limescale layers. Moving in or out, a long closed period, post-renovation work or a once-a-year overhaul belong here. A simple test: if the list of areas is short but repeated often, it is regular work; if the list is long and you want it done "once, from start to finish", discuss a detailed scope. Merging the two into one appointment usually leaves both unfinished.
Access decides what windows can be covered
With glass, the deciding factor is not the number of panes but how you reach them. A window whose sash opens fully inwards is not the same job as a fixed pane behind a balcony railing. Before the appointment, note a few things: do the windows open inwards, does the sash turn fully, is there fixed furniture or an air-conditioning unit in front, is there safe standing space. Surfaces that cannot be reached, or that would require working at height on the façade, stay outside the scope, and it is better to say so early.
Frames, tracks and seals are separate workload; wiping glass and clearing construction dust from a track take different amounts of time. If glass looks scratched, hazy or stained, trying to identify the cause with improvised home tests is misleading: coated surfaces, wear and residue can look alike and need on-site expert assessment. No abrasive method should be tried without knowing the manufacturer's care instructions. More on the window cleaning page.
Square metres alone do not describe the work
Of two flats of the same size, one may be empty and the other fully furnished. In a furnished space, every surface adds lifting, replacing and working around. What drives workload: whether cupboards are emptied, how heavy the grease layer is in the kitchen, limescale in the bathroom, the state of carpets and textiles, pet hair, fine dust from renovation. Fine dust in particular needs staged work; it is not removed in one pass and is repeated after it settles. That is why post-construction cleaning is planned differently from ordinary home cleaning.
The eight services in brief
Home cleaning covers living areas; office cleaning covers workspaces, shared areas and toilets, with no handling of electronics or documents. Post-construction cleaning separates coarse and fine stages. Empty-flat cleaning focuses on cupboard interiors, bathroom, kitchen and floors. Building and estate cleaning covers stairs, landings and entrances. Villa cleaning sets an order by floor and staircase; pool care is not included. Upholstery washing starts with the fabric label, and no stain removal is guaranteed.
Checkpoints before and after
- Are water and electricity available?
- Will cupboards be emptied or left as they are?
- Have fragile and personal items been set aside?
- Which windows open, and which are fixed?
- At the end: tracks and frames, under the sink, door tops, skirting boards reviewed?
Can I ask for regular and detailed cleaning on the same day?
It is possible, but treat them as two scopes; without an agreed area list and priority order, the detailed part ends up incomplete.
Can exterior windows be included?
Only surfaces that can be reached safely are considered. Access is discussed according to the address and window type: CGS Temizlik, 0537 4450191.
