Handing over a key and forgetting to say "the insides of the kitchen cabinets too" can leave half the job undone. When arranging cleaning at an address in Soğuksu (Muratpaşa), the most useful preparation is a description that makes sense even before anyone sees the flat: which room, which surface, which item. With CGS Temizlik the address and access conditions are discussed first, and the scope is settled in the same conversation.
The work in brief
Home cleaning covers kitchens, bathrooms and living areas. Office cleaning covers workspaces, shared areas and toilets, with a clear limit around electronics and documents. Post-construction cleaning separates coarse debris from fine cleaning. Empty-flat cleaning suits pre-move situations, building and estate cleaning focuses on stairs and entrances, and villa cleaning on floors and work order. Upholstery washing follows the fabric label; window cleaning is limited to reachable glass.
Making a special request describable
"Do it thoroughly" means different things to different people. Split the request into three questions instead: where (living room, child's room, balcony), what (cabinet interiors, behind radiators, inside the fridge) and how sensitive (wood surfaces, polished furniture, painted walls). If there is a mark or stain, describe its location rather than diagnosing its cause. Whether a mark on glass is a scratch, a coating trace or dirt cannot be judged by eye or fingernail; that distinction needs an on-site expert assessment, and no method can be called suitable without knowing the manufacturer's care instructions. The same applies to sofas: no method is chosen before the label is read, and stain removal cannot be promised. If you want upholstery washing, finding and photographing the label in advance shortens the conversation.
Shared areas: foot traffic and work order
In some buildings the entrance and stairs are used constantly through the day; in others certain hours are quiet. That information comes from you. A wet floor during a busy hour means slip risk and re-soiling, so agreeing when the floor work starts, and whether it moves floor by floor or all at once, keeps the job from being interrupted. Lift use, waste removal and whether a water point may be used should also be settled with the building management before work begins. See the building and estate cleaning page for more detail.
Keys and responsibility for access
If you will not be present, name who hands the key over, who takes it back and how the door is locked. When a key is left with a caretaker or neighbour, state both the handover and the return time. In empty flats it also matters whether water and electricity are on; if they are off, floor and bathroom work cannot proceed as planned. Checking this ahead is the most practical step for empty-flat cleaning.
Checkpoints before and after
- A written list of rooms and surfaces to be done
- Items, devices and documents not to be touched
- Delicate surfaces and any care instructions
- Water, electricity, lift and waste access
- Who gives the key and who receives it back
- Afterwards: a walk-through against the list, wet floors, doors and windows closed
Who should hold the key, tenant or owner?
Whoever arranges the visit should also carry the access responsibility. If neither party will be at the address, give the name of the person handing over and collecting the key, plus the time window.
Should stair cleaning be done during the day?
It depends on how the building is used. If wet floors cause trouble at busy hours, the work order is built around a quieter window; decide this together with the building management. To talk it through: 0537 4450191.
