Decide whether kitchen cabinets need exterior cleaning only or interior cleaning too before arranging the job. For an address in Güzelsu, Akseki, Antalya, that choice affects preparation and access. If the home is furnished, also specify which cupboards may be opened, which belongings may be moved and who will hold the keys.
Set boundaries around belongings and delicate surfaces
Home cleaning can cover kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces. Including a room does not automatically authorise moving every object or opening every drawer. Identify heavy furniture, fragile items, private documents and storage areas that must remain untouched. Set aside valuables and personal belongings before work begins.
If there is delicate wood, natural stone or a special coating, share its care instructions. When a material is unknown, product choice should not rely on guesswork: assess suitability and, where appropriate, test a small concealed area. Note existing scratches, loose doors or swelling together. A useful instruction is: “Clean the tabletop, but do not handle the collection displayed on it.”
Separate cabinet interiors from moving and renovation work
Cabinet fronts, handles and exposed surfaces are distinct from shelves and drawer interiors. For interior cleaning, agree who removes food and kitchenware, where they will be stored temporarily and who puts them back. “Upper cabinets outside only; emptied lower shelves inside” is clearer than “clean the whole kitchen.”
For empty apartment cleaning before moving in, list cabinet interiors, bathrooms, kitchen surfaces and floors individually. Check water and electricity access. An empty property does not automatically mean every cupboard interior is included.
Report building or renovation residue separately. Post-construction cleaning distinguishes bulk waste removal from detailed cleaning and uses staged dust removal. Paint or mortar residue needs assessment against the surface's sensitivity; scraping is not suitable for every finish.
Choose additional work by material and use
Upholstery cleaning differs from routine surface wiping: the fabric label is examined, and the method and ventilation arrangements are discussed. Stain removal is not guaranteed. Window cleaning requires agreement on accessible glass, frames and surface conditions; do not assume hazardous exterior or high-level work is included.
For villa cleaning, floors, rooms, stairs, windows and occupancy determine the work sequence; pool maintenance is excluded. Office and workplace cleaning separates workspaces, shared areas and toilets, with explicit limits around electronics and documents. Apartment-building and residential-complex cleaning concerns stairs, landings, entrances and agreed communal areas, including passage arrangements while floors are wet.

Two questions to settle beforehand
Can I request interior cleaning when cabinets are full?
Yes, but agree who empties them and replaces the contents beforehand. If contents will remain inside, specify exterior-only cleaning.
What if I cannot attend the key handover?
Identify authorised people for key transfer, access limits and the final inspection. Providing a key does not itself authorise opening cupboards or handling personal belongings.
