Our Antalya school and nursery cleaning service is built precisely around this need: the cleaning is scheduled for hours and days when the children are not on site; the products to be used are agreed with the management; the surfaces cleaned are rinsed and the premises are aired before handover.

This service is aimed at private educational institutions and is planned as a cleaning job whose scope and date are fixed in advance. Supplying permanent caretaking staff to the institution, or setting up a team that is in the building every day, is not what this service covers. When does school and nursery cleaning in Antalya come up?

The cleaning needs of educational institutions change with the calendar. Start-of-term school cleaning covers getting a building that has stood closed, or been little used, over the summer holidays ready to welcome pupils. A summer holiday deep clean, on the other hand, makes use of the period when the institution is empty to deal more thoroughly with surfaces that are hard to reach during term time.

Half-term cleaning is done within a shorter window and focuses on heavily used classrooms, corridors and toilet areas. If the institution has undergone refurbishment or painting, dust and residue need to be removed before anyone returns to the classrooms; in that case an after-builders cleaning approach is used for the first stage of the job, followed by a finishing clean suited to teaching areas. Periodic cleaning refers to a routine that repeats at set intervals with a scope agreed in advance, in addition to the institution's own daily cleaning.

There is also a difference between nursery and kindergarten cleaning and the cleaning of a private tuition or tutoring centre. With younger age groups the emphasis is on floors, play areas and low surfaces, whereas in study and tutoring centres desk surfaces, corridors and waiting areas take priority. The plan is shaped around this pattern of use.

• Pest control and disinfection with biocidal products
• Cleaning inside kitchen extractor ducts and flues
• Water tank cleaning
• Garden, playground and outdoor area maintenance
• Supply of permanent caretaking or housekeeping staff

Making this distinction clear from the outset matters so that there are no surprises on the day. If you have a need that falls outside the scope, you will have to arrange it separately; these jobs are not offered as part of the cleaning quote.

How are products and methods chosen for areas used by children?

In a workplace used by adults, cleaning focuses on not disrupting the working routine; we explain this approach in detail on our office and workplace cleaning page. In educational institutions, two further considerations come to the fore: timing and product choice.

In terms of timing, the cleaning is scheduled for times when the children are not in the building; whether after-school hours, weekends or holiday periods are most suitable is agreed in discussion with the institution. This way, the time needed for rinsing products off surfaces and airing the premises properly is completed before the children arrive.

Product choice is decided together with the management. If the institution has its own product policy, it is followed; if not, general cleaning products suited to the surface type and used according to the label instructions are recommended. Different products are never mixed under any circumstances. Rinsing the cleaned surfaces and airing the premises are an integral part of the job; the work is never shortened by skipping these steps.

The method varies according to the nature of the surface. Excess water is avoided on laminate or PVC floors; abrasive products are kept away from wooden desk surfaces; on rubber or foam flooring in play areas, the suitability of the surface is checked beforehand. Equipment needs are also determined at the site survey according to the size of the premises and the types of surface. What the institution needs to prepare before the appointment

For the cleaning to go ahead as planned, a few preparations are on the institution's side:

• Confirming the exact time window when no children will be in the building, and the access arrangements
• Naming an authorised person who will be present in the building during the cleaning
• Clearing toys, books and materials from desk tops, cupboard tops and play areas; if these items are not within scope, our team will not move them
• If toy and material cleaning is required, letting us know the preferred method and products in advance
• Ensuring water and electricity are switched on
• Pointing out in advance any rooms, cupboards or storerooms that must not be entered
• After refurbishment or painting, confirming that the work is finished and the floor is clear

How does the work proceed on cleaning day?

1. Survey and discussion: The premises are assessed either on site or from photographs and a description; scope, product preferences and the date are confirmed.
2. Dusting and preparation: Starting from high surfaces, cupboard tops, skirting boards and fittings, dust is worked downwards; rubbish is collected.
3. Surface cleaning: Desk and table surfaces, door handles, banisters and other frequently touched points are wiped with the agreed products and rinsed.
4. Toilets and washbasins: Toilets, basins, mirrors and tiles are cleaned; the equipment used for these areas is kept separate from the rest of the building.
5. Windows: Windows and frames that can be safely reached from inside are wiped.
6. Floors: Classroom, corridor, dining area and play area floors are swept and mopped in a manner suited to the surface type; carpeted areas are washed separately if planned.
7. Airing and inspection: The premises are aired, a walk-through is carried out with the authorised person, and any points found wanting are completed.

If the building has stood closed for a long time or there is refurbishment residue, some steps may need to be repeated; this possibility is discussed at the survey and reflected in the plan.

The quote is not based on a single measure such as the number of classrooms or floors, but on the job as a whole. The main determining factors are:
