Antalya On-Site Carpet Cleaning

Wall-to-wall carpets and carpets that are difficult to lift are cleaned where they lie using vacuum extraction; the scope is agreed in discussion according to the carpet type.

  • Wall-to-wall carpets are cleaned in place by vacuum extraction, without being taken up
  • The carpet is thoroughly dry-vacuumed before treatment
  • Out-of-hours scheduling can be arranged for offices, hotels and nurseries
  • A corner test is carried out on delicate carpets and those at risk of colour bleeding
  • Sofa or mattress cleaning can be planned in the same visit

Is it possible to have a wall-to-wall carpet, or one that is difficult to lift, cleaned without taking it up? Yes – that is exactly what our on-site carpet cleaning service in Antalya is for. The carpet is first thoroughly dry-vacuumed where it lies, then a cleaning solution suited to the fibre is applied and extracted by vacuum together with the dirt. The carpet is not taken up, transported or moved from its place.

Let us be clear from the outset: this is not factory-style carpet washing, where the carpet is collected, washed at a plant and returned. CGS Temizlik does not offer a carpet collection and delivery service. If you have loose rugs at home that can be lifted and you want them deep-washed, plant-based washing may well be the more suitable option in most cases. On-site cleaning is intended for the care of fixed carpets – surfaces that are not practical to take up.

Which carpets and premises is on-site carpet cleaning suited to?

The method makes sense wherever the carpet stays in place or moving it would be a serious undertaking. Typical uses include:

  • Wall-to-wall carpets in homes and business premises
  • Carpet tiles in offices, meeting rooms and corridors
  • Hotel corridor and room carpets
  • Carpeted floors in nurseries and play areas
  • Large machine-made carpets that are difficult to lift

In carpeted business premises, this treatment can also be planned as part of the general upkeep of the space. Combining it with office and workplace cleaning for the whole working area, or with hotel and guesthouse cleaning for a season opening or periodic deep clean at accommodation premises, gets the job done in one go. In business premises, the work is planned in discussion so that it falls outside working hours; we do not promise to fit around any hour or to work overnight – a suitable time slot is agreed between both parties.

Scope of on-site carpet cleaning in Antalya: what is included, what is assessed separately and what is outside the scope

The scope is confirmed at a site visit or in discussion, depending on the carpet type and the condition of the premises. The general framework is as follows:

  • Included: Preliminary dry-vacuuming of the carpet, application of a fibre-appropriate solution, extraction of the dirt by vacuum, targeted pre-treatment of visible stains, and advice on ventilation after the treatment.
  • Assessed separately: Hand-woven, silk, antique and vegetable-dyed carpets; moisture-sensitive viscose and bamboo carpets; carpets at risk of colour bleeding. For these, the suitability of the method is discussed separately, a test is carried out in an inconspicuous corner if necessary, and the treatment is not recommended if it proves unsuitable.
  • Outside the scope: Taking up the carpet, transporting it to a plant and returning it; carpet repairs; fringe renewal; moth or insect treatment; repairs to the floor beneath the carpet; moving heavy furniture in the room concerned.

If the carpet has been soaked by flooding, a plumbing fault or rain, the situation is different. In such an area, the removal of the water and the condition of the floor must be dealt with first; for that need, the scope on the flood clean-up page is a more suitable starting point.

What determines the choice of method and equipment?

Not every carpet receives the same solution strength or the same amount of moisture. The main factors behind the choice are:

  • Fibre type: Synthetic machine-made carpets are generally more tolerant; with fibres such as wool, viscose and bamboo, the moisture limit is reduced or the treatment is not carried out.
  • Pile height: In long-pile carpets, dirt settles deeper and drying takes longer; with short-pile carpet tiles the process is more controlled.
  • Subfloor: If there is parquet or laminate beneath the carpet, excess moisture is avoided and a lower-moisture treatment is preferred.
  • Colour fastness: Where there is any suspicion of colour bleeding, a test is carried out in an inconspicuous area before treatment.
  • Level of soiling and staining: In heavily soiled areas, the pre-treatment time and number of passes increase.

Different cleaning chemicals are never mixed; the product label and surface compatibility are the guiding principles. If you have any information about your carpet's type, sharing it before the appointment allows the right method to be determined from the start.

Realistic expectations on stains and drying

Which stains come out, and which may not?

With stains such as tea, coffee, ink and pet stains, the result depends on the type of stain, how long it has been in the carpet and the structure of the fibre. Fresh, surface stains have a higher chance of success; old stains, those set by heat or those that have dyed the fibre may leave a mark. For this reason, no promise is made that every stain will come out; the likely outcome is discussed openly at the site visit or before the treatment.

When can the carpet be used again?

Drying time varies with the thickness of the carpet, the amount of moisture applied and the ventilation of the room, so no exact time is given. Until the carpet is completely dry, it is advisable to avoid heavy foot traffic, to ventilate the room and to place protectors under furniture legs. This small precaution matters because wooden or metal furniture legs in direct contact with a damp carpet can leave marks or transfer colour.

What we ask of you before the appointment

A few preparations are enough for the work to go as planned:

  • Removing light items, side tables and small objects from the carpet; heavy furniture is not moved – the area around it is cleaned
  • Providing access to a power socket and water near the treatment area
  • Letting us know the carpet's type, age and any known stains
  • In business premises, advising in advance of the suitable time slot and access arrangements
  • Telling us what lies beneath the carpet (parquet, laminate, screed, ceramic tiles)

In homes with pets, keeping the animals away from the area during the treatment makes things more comfortable both for them and for the team.

How does the treatment proceed, step by step?

  1. In discussion or at a site visit, the carpet's type, area, subfloor and staining are assessed and the scope is confirmed.
  2. On the day, the area is prepared and, if necessary, a corner test for colour fastness is carried out.
  3. The carpet is thoroughly dry-vacuumed to remove dust, sand and loose dirt.
  4. Prominent stains receive a fibre-appropriate pre-treatment.
  5. The cleaning solution is applied to the carpet and extracted by vacuum along with the dirt; the amount of moisture is adjusted to suit the carpet.
  6. After the treatment, advice is given on ventilating the room and on use until the carpet is dry.

What determines the price of carpet cleaning

A firm price is not given without seeing the area or obtaining details; the quote is shaped by the following factors:

  • The size of the carpeted area to be cleaned
  • The carpet's type, fibre and pile height
  • The level of soiling and staining, and any need for pre-treatment
  • How much furniture is in the area and how easy access is
  • The district where the work will take place and travel arrangements
  • Whether additional services such as sofa cleaning or mattress cleaning are carried out during the same visit

Scheduling several treatments in the same visit can make for a more efficient arrangement in terms of both time and travel; in that case, a single quote is prepared.

Scheduling across Antalya

CGS Temizlik plans work from its base in Kepez to all districts of Antalya. In districts close to the centre, setting a date tends to be quicker, while for outlying districts, travel, dates and the scope of the work are agreed in discussion; no same-day or unconditional service is promised. Sharing the carpet type, approximate area, your district and a suitable date makes the first step of planning easier.

If you would like to find out whether on-site cleaning is suitable for a carpet that cannot be taken up, you can call 0537 445 01 91, send a photo and details of your carpet via WhatsApp on the same number, or fill in the free quote form. The scope, method and date are then confirmed between us.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you collect my carpet, wash it at a plant and bring it back?
No. This service cleans the carpet where it lies, without taking it up or transporting it; CGS Temizlik does not offer a carpet collection and delivery service. For loose rugs at home that can be lifted, plant-based washing may well be the more suitable option in most cases.
Can on-site cleaning be applied to every carpet?
It is suitable for wall-to-wall carpets, carpet tiles and large machine-made carpets. Hand-woven, silk, antique and vegetable-dyed carpets, as well as moisture-sensitive viscose and bamboo carpets, are assessed separately; for carpets at risk of colour bleeding, a test is carried out in an inconspicuous corner.
How long does the carpet take to dry, and can I walk on it straight away?
Drying time depends on the thickness of the carpet, the amount of moisture applied and the ventilation of the room, so no exact time is given. Until the carpet is dry, it is advisable to avoid heavy foot traffic and to place protectors under furniture legs. If the subfloor is parquet or laminate, excess moisture is avoided.
Will tea, coffee or pet stains come out completely?
The result depends on the type of stain, how long it has been there and the carpet's fibre. A fibre-appropriate solution is applied and the dirt is extracted by vacuum; however, there is no guarantee that every stain will come out. Telling us about the stains in advance helps us choose the right method.
What information do I need to share for a quote and appointment?
The district and neighbourhood where the carpet is located, the approximate carpet area, the carpet's type and pile height, the level of soiling and staining, how much furniture is in the room and a suitable date are enough. If you would also like sofa or mattress cleaning in the same visit, please say so. You can send these details by calling 0537 445 01 91 or via WhatsApp.
