Cleaning Service

Antalya Mattress Cleaning

We clean your mattress in the room where it stands, without moving it, using a vacuum extraction method. Whether the bed base and headboard are included is agreed in advance, depending on the materials of the mattress.

  • The mattress is cleaned in situ, in its own room, without being taken out of the home
  • After dry vacuuming, a fabric-appropriate solution is applied and extracted
  • On memory foam and latex mattresses, moisture is reduced to suit the structure
  • Bed base, headboard and underside can be added to the scope on request
  • Several mattresses can be scheduled in one visit for hotels and holiday lets

If you are wondering whether your mattress can be cleaned without being moved, the answer is yes: our Antalya mattress cleaning service is based on an in-situ washing method carried out in the room where the mattress stands, without taking it out of the home or business. The mattress surface is first dry-vacuumed; a cleaning solution suited to the fabric is then applied and extracted again by vacuum together with the dirt. The approach follows the same logic as the sofa cleaning method used on upholstered furniture; the difference is that the amount of moisture is adjusted to the internal structure of the mattress and the rules for putting it back into use are applied more carefully.

CGS Temizlik plans this service across all districts of Antalya from its base in Kepez. For districts further from the centre, the date, travel and scope of work are agreed in advance; we do not promise same-day or unconditional service. Below you will find which mattresses can be cleaned, what is included, how drying progresses and what to bear in mind before your appointment.

When is mattress cleaning in Antalya needed?

Mattress cleaning usually comes up when a visible stain or odour is noticed, but it is not limited to those situations. If you have been using the same mattress for a long time, dust and dirt gradually build up on the surface beneath the sheet. In-situ mattress cleaning is also a practical solution when tenants change, when moving into a furnished rental, when opening up a holiday home for the season or when bringing a room back into use after it has been closed for a long period.

In hotels, guesthouses and holiday lets, the need is usually not limited to a single mattress. Several mattresses can be scheduled in the same visit as part of the seasonal opening, after refurbishment or during periodic deep cleaning. For such businesses, the hotel and guesthouse cleaning guide, which covers the general cleaning of the premises, can be considered alongside mattress cleaning.

Which parts of the mattress are cleaned, and what falls outside the scope?

The standard scope is the top surface and sides of the mattress. Other parts are discussed on request; some jobs fall outside the limits of this service.

  • Included: Dry vacuuming and in-situ washing of the top surface and sides of the mattress. Single and double mattresses as well as children's mattresses fall within this scope.
  • Added on request: The underside of the mattress (the mattress needs to be turned over), washing of fabric-covered bed bases and headboard cleaning. As the fabric structure of the base and headboard affects how much moisture can be applied, letting us know in advance makes the job easier.
  • Subject to discussion: Old stains that have soaked into the foam, heavy odours and mattresses whose manufacturer's label warns against wet cleaning. In these cases the treatment may be limited or not carried out at all.
  • Not included: Washing of duvets, pillows and bed linen; mattress repair; pest control.

If you would like your sofa cleaned in the same visit, this can be planned together with sofa cleaning; wall-to-wall carpets are assessed separately under in-situ carpet cleaning.

How does the mattress material change the method?

In-situ mattress cleaning is not applied in the same way to every mattress. The deciding factor is the internal structure of the mattress:

  • Sprung mattresses: With an internal structure that allows air to circulate, these mattresses cope relatively easily with the moisture applied and the drying process is more straightforward.
  • Memory foam and latex mattresses: Foam tends to hold moisture inside. These mattresses are cleaned with less moisture; the solution is kept at the surface and extracted by vacuum as far as possible.
  • Mattresses with a label warning: If the manufacturer's label states "do not wet clean", the treatment is limited accordingly or restricted to dry vacuuming only.

As for stains, the type and age determine the result. With stains such as sweat, drinks, urine and blood, fresh ones generally lift from the surface more easily; there is no guarantee that old stains soaked into the foam, or odours, will come out completely. If you are contacting us for mattress stain removal, telling us what the stain is and how long it has been there allows the right method to be chosen from the outset.

An important limit needs to be stated clearly at this point: in-situ cleaning removes dust, dirt and stains from the surface of the mattress. It does not promise any health-related outcome, nor is any claim made about the internal structure of the mattress after treatment.

Drying and putting the mattress back into use

Drying is the stage of mattress cleaning that raises the most questions, and the honest answer is that no exact time can be given. The duration depends on the structure of the mattress, the amount of moisture applied and the ventilation in the room. A sprung mattress and a memory foam mattress in the same room will dry at different rates; there is also a marked difference between a room with an open window and air circulation and a closed one.

No sheet should be put on and the mattress should not be used until it is completely dry. Covering a damp surface slows drying and can cause unwanted odours. After treatment, the room should be ventilated and, where possible, the mattress left uncovered. Feeling no moisture by hand on the surface and sides is a good sign; however, as the inside of foam mattresses dries later than the surface, it is best not to cut the time short. In businesses where several mattresses are cleaned in the same visit, it makes sense to plan the order in which the rooms are used accordingly.

What you need to prepare before the appointment

What needs to be done so the team can get straight to work is simple:

  • Remove the duvet cover, sheet, mattress protector and any mattress cover; the mattress surface should be bare.
  • Leave working space around the bed. If the underside is also to be cleaned, enough room is needed to turn the mattress over.
  • Provide access to a power socket and water for the equipment.
  • Tell us the mattress type (sprung, memory foam, latex) and any warning on the manufacturer's label.
  • Let us know the type of stains and roughly when they occurred.
  • State whether the bed base and headboard are fabric-covered and whether you would like these cleaned as well.

For holiday lets, sharing the schedule between guest check-out and check-in makes it possible to assess in advance whether the drying time will fit into that window. The routine changeover cleaning of such properties is covered separately in the holiday let and Airbnb cleaning guide.

How does in-situ mattress cleaning proceed?

  1. Inspection: The structure of the mattress, label information, condition of the stains and whether there is a fabric-covered base or headboard are checked on site. If any surface is unsuitable for wet cleaning, this is pointed out at this stage.
  2. Dry vacuuming: The top surface and sides of the mattress, and the underside if requested, are dry-vacuumed; dust and loose dirt are removed.
  3. Stain pre-treatment: A solution suited to the fabric is applied locally to prominent stains and left to work for a short while. Different products are never mixed together.
  4. In-situ washing: The solution is applied to the surface and extracted by vacuum. On foam mattresses the amount of moisture is kept low; on sprung mattresses, work proceeds as far as the structure allows.
  5. Base and headboard: If included in the scope, the fabric-covered bed base and headboard are cleaned using the same method.
  6. Ventilation and handover: The mattress is left uncovered, and you are reminded to ventilate the room and not to use the mattress until it is completely dry.

What determines mattress cleaning prices

A firm price is given once the details of the mattress have been clarified in discussion. The main factors that shape the quote are:

  • Number and size of mattresses; single, double and children's mattresses are assessed differently.
  • Whether a fabric-covered bed base and headboard are included in the scope.
  • Whether the underside is also to be cleaned.
  • Stain intensity and the number of areas requiring pre-treatment.
  • Whether additional jobs such as sofa cleaning or in-situ carpet cleaning are planned for the same visit.
  • Your district and travel conditions; for districts further from the centre, planning is agreed by discussion.

For a quote, simply share your district, the number and type of mattresses, whether the base and headboard are to be included, and a suitable date. If you would like to arrange in-situ mattress cleaning in Antalya, you can call 0537 445 01 91, message us on WhatsApp or fill in the free quote form.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can the mattress be used after cleaning?
As the drying time depends on the structure of the mattress, the amount of moisture applied and the ventilation in the room, we cannot give an exact time. No sheet should be put on and nobody should sleep on the mattress until it is completely dry. Ventilating the room after treatment helps it dry.
Can my memory foam or latex mattress be cleaned in situ?
Because foam mattresses cannot cope with as much moisture as sprung mattresses, we work with less moisture on these. If the manufacturer's label warns against wet cleaning, the treatment is limited accordingly or not carried out at all. That is why it is important to tell us the mattress material before the appointment.
Will urine, blood or sweat stains come out completely?
The result is determined by the type and age of the stain; fresh surface stains generally respond better. We do not guarantee that old stains soaked into the foam, or odours, will come out completely. If you tell us about the stain in advance, we will set expectations honestly during the discussion.
Do you also wash duvets, pillows and bed linen?
No, the service covers the top surface and sides of the mattress and, on request, the underside, the fabric-covered bed base and the headboard. Washing duvets, pillows and bed linen, mattress repair and pest control are outside the scope. The bed linen and mattress protector need to be removed before the appointment.
What information should I share for a quote and appointment?
The number and size of mattresses, the mattress material, whether the base and headboard are to be included, the type of stains, your district and a suitable date are enough for a quote. If you would like an additional job such as sofa cleaning in the same visit, please mention that too. You can send this information by phone or WhatsApp to 0537 445 01 91.
