Picture two flats: both 110 square metres, both with three rooms. In one, the curtains were recently washed, the wardrobes are empty and the kitchen holds a few pots. In the other there is a bookcase up to the ceiling, small appliances permanently on the counter, and a bedroom set that has not been moved in years. Same number, very different job. When arranging cleaning for an address in Selçuk mahallesi in Muratpaşa, that is the real question: not how large the space is, but what will be done in it.
What square metres do not tell you
The things that decide duration and team size usually do not appear on a floor plan. How densely furnished the place is, whether items will be moved, whether cupboards are full or empty, the floor material, how many window panes there are and which side can be reached safely, whether water and power are connected — all of these change the workload. The type of cleaning matters too: routine cleaning in a lived-in home is not the same preparation as a vacated flat where cupboard interiors are included.
So when you call, add a few sentences of your own next to the square metres: how many bathrooms, whether the oven and extractor hood are included, whether furniture stays in place, whether the outside of the windows can be reached safely.
The eight services at a glance
Home cleaning covers living areas, kitchen and bathroom; villa cleaning brings floors, stairs and glass into a work order, and pool maintenance is not included. Empty flat cleaning focuses on cupboard interiors and floors before a move. Post-construction cleaning separates coarse debris from fine dust work. Office cleaning defines limits around electronics and documents. Apartment and complex cleaning covers stairs, landings and entrances. Upholstery washing follows the fabric label. Window cleaning is limited to reachable surfaces.
Describing a special request clearly
"Get this stain out" carries little information on its own. It helps far more to say what is where and what the surface has been through: is the sofa's fabric label still attached, what product was tried before, is the parquet sealed, is the counter natural stone. A mark on glass may be surface soiling, or it may be a coating or a scratch; telling these apart needs an on-site expert assessment, and guessing at a method can widen the damage. If the manufacturer's care instructions are unknown, no aggressive method can be assumed suitable. No stain removal is promised; the method and its risk are discussed beforehand.
Setting the boundary with building management
In apartment blocks and complexes, the most common confusion is where the job ends. Points worth settling in advance with management: which floors of stairs and landings are included, whether the entrance hall and lift car are in scope, whether the car park or basement is assessed separately, where water and power will be drawn from, and where waste will be placed. The routing over wet floors should also be known to management: warning signs and staged work are needed during hours residents use the stairs. Work inside a flat and work in common areas are separate scopes; presenting them as one request creates confusion.
Checklist for before and after
- Collect fragile items, documents and valuables; these are not part of cleaning.
- Confirm that water and electricity are on and sockets work.
- Name delicate surfaces in advance (natural stone, wood, coated glass).
- Say which rooms or cupboards you want left out of scope.
- At the end, turn the lights on and review glass, mirrors and floors together.
- Agree on ventilation time for areas left damp.
Scope becomes clear once the address and access conditions are discussed. CGS Temizlik works from Sütçüler Mahallesi 15 Temmuz Şehitler Cd No109/D Kepez/Antalya; you can describe your job on 0537 4450191.
Should I clear the items myself?
Collecting personal belongings, paperwork and valuables is yours to do. Whether furniture will be shifted is agreed separately in the job description; heavy or fixed pieces may stay outside the scope.
Who should request common area cleaning?
So that boundaries are set by one party, the request should come from building management or someone they authorise. That way the floors covered, the entrance, and the water and power points are understood the same way from the start.
