When a cleaning appointment goes wrong, the reason is usually not the work itself: the water is shut off, the fuse box is down, or nobody can open the door. If you are arranging a service for a flat, an office or an empty home in the Erentepe neighbourhood of Kumluca, sorting out these three points in advance also makes it easier to choose the right scope.
Water, power and entry are three separate checks
Water is the basis of all wet cleaning. If the subscription has been closed or the main valve is shut, floor and bathroom work stays limited. This happens often in homes emptied before a move, so when discussing empty flat cleaning the first question is whether the water is on. Electricity is needed for machines and for light. In an interior bathroom, pantry or basement with little daylight, a surface that cannot be seen cannot be counted as cleaned.
Entry is its own matter: who holds the key, whether it is handed over through a caretaker or building management, and whether shared doors use a code. These conditions differ from building to building, so you are the one who tells us which apply at your address.
Decisions about furniture and delicate surfaces
In a furnished home, it is worth agreeing item by item what will be moved, what will be covered and what will not be touched at all. For heavy furniture, glass tables, framed art, instruments, aquariums or collected pieces, the safest route is to move them yourself beforehand or mark them as outside the scope.
For delicate surfaces the manufacturer's care instructions decide the method. With wood, natural stone, matt kitchen fronts, coated glass or upholstery fabric, no method can be called suitable while those instructions are unknown. That is why the fabric label is examined before upholstery cleaning; if there is no readable label, the approach stays conservative and no promise is made that a stain will come out. A mark on glass may be a scratch, a residue or damaged coating; telling these apart needs an on-site expert assessment, not a quick test at home.
The eight services in brief
Home cleaning covers kitchen, bathroom and living areas. Office work has clear limits around electronics and documents. After construction, coarse debris and fine cleaning are handled separately. Empty flats focus on cupboard interiors, bathroom, kitchen and floors. Apartment and site work covers stairs, landings, entrances and shared areas. Villas follow a floor-by-floor order and exclude pool care. Upholstery cleaning depends on the fabric. Glass cleaning is limited to reachable surfaces.
Checklist before and after
- Is the main valve open, and is there hot water?
- Are the fuses on, and are there working sockets in the rooms?
- Who opens the door, and how is the key handed over?
- Which items will be moved, and which are marked do-not-touch?
- Which surfaces have known care instructions?
- Where should waste and packaging be left?
Walking through the space at the end
Once the work is done, the most practical step is to walk the space together. Go room by room and look at the points that are easy to miss: bathroom grout, under the kitchen counter, tops of doors, window frames and floor edges. Anything you notice while the team is still there is far easier to sort out than a message afterwards. This walk is also a good moment to recall which items and areas were deliberately left out.
Can cleaning still happen if the water is off?
Dry dusting and vacuuming are possible, but wet work in the bathroom, kitchen and on floors stays limited. Telling us in advance lets the scope be set accordingly.
How do I know whether a mark on glass is a scratch or residue?
You cannot know this reliably at home. Scratches, stains and coating damage are only distinguished after the mark is seen and assessed in place; on doubtful surfaces a cautious method is chosen.
