Cleaning services in Mavikent, Kumluca

A short guide for Mavikent: keeping stairs and entrances passable, handling post-renovation dust, and treating villa floors and large windows separately.

While a stairwell is being washed, someone usually comes home with shopping bags and needs to reach an upper floor. That is why the first thing to settle when defining scope is simple: will the building stay in use during the work, or can passage be restricted for a while? If you are arranging cleaning for a flat, a shared area or a villa in the Mavikent neighbourhood of Kumluca, saying this at the outset changes the order and the pace of the job.

Define the job yourself

The scopes CGS Temizlik works with, in brief: home cleaning covers kitchen, bathroom and living areas; office work covers workspaces and shared areas; post-construction separates coarse debris from fine cleaning; empty-flat work covers cupboard interiors, bathroom, kitchen and floors; apartment and site work covers stairs, landings and entrances; villa work follows floors, rooms, stairs and glass; upholstery washing follows the fabric label; window cleaning covers reachable glass and frames. Pool care, paperwork and electronics repair are outside these.

Keeping the entrance and stairs passable

Wet floors in shared areas need more planning than scrubbing. Two approaches are usually discussed: working floor by floor and drying each landing before moving up, or splitting the stairs lengthwise and leaving one half open for walking. The second is not possible everywhere; step width and railing layout may not allow it. Leaving a mat or a dry strip at the entrance delays street shoes reaching freshly washed flooring. If there is a lift, decide in advance which floors it will serve. See apartment and site cleaning for the scope.

Is the renovation finished, or nearly finished?

Dust returns as long as its source is active. So the decisive question before post-construction cleaning is whether the work is genuinely complete. If sanding, silicone work, skirting board fitting or furniture cutting is still pending, a thin layer can reappear a day after cleaning. That is sequencing, not a shortcoming. Two stages are often more realistic: coarse debris and heavy dust first, fine cleaning once the tradespeople have left. With paint and mortar residue, no method is chosen without knowing the surface; without manufacturer care instructions, scraping or chemicals are not attempted. Listing what is already finished speeds up a post-construction cleaning request.

Villa floors and large glass are separate matters

In a villa the sequence usually runs top down, because the staircase is both a work area and a route. Large glass is its own item: a facade running the length of a living room will not finish in the same time as room windows. If outside access is not safe, that surface may stay out of scope. Scratches, hazing or what looks like a coating cannot be diagnosed over the phone; they need assessment on site, and coated glass can be permanently marked by the wrong method. It helps to discuss villa cleaning and window cleaning together.

Checkpoints before and after

  • Are water and power available, and from which point?
  • Is the building in use, and when is foot traffic heaviest?
  • How will parking and entrance access be arranged?
  • Is any renovation work still pending, and when does it end?
  • Which items, rooms or surfaces are excluded?
  • Afterwards: are landings dry, where was waste left, were closed areas reopened?

Do the stairs have to be closed completely while washed?

Not necessarily. If the staircase allows it, one half can stay open; otherwise work proceeds floor by floor and each dried section is reopened. Which applies is decided on site.

What if dust reappears after cleaning?

Look for the source first: an unfinished renovation task, an open facade or newly moved furniture. If the source is still active, it is more sensible to schedule the fine cleaning after that work ends.
