If a window still looks dirty right after it was cleaned, the problem is often the scope rather than the glass. Perhaps only the inner face was reachable, or both faces were done while the build-up in the lower track and the frame corners stayed untouched. In Yeni mahallesi, Kumluca, this is the first thing worth settling before an appointment: what exactly "glass cleaning" includes.
Three separate items in glass work
Splitting the request into three parts helps both sides plan realistically:
- Inner face: usually the easiest to reach; fingerprints, a film from kitchen steam and pet marks collect here.
- Outer face: access depends on how the window opens, on railings, and on the balcony or garden space outside. Where safe access does not exist, the outer face may stay outside the scope; no promise is made for risky facade or height work.
- Tracks and frames: the lower channel of sliding units, gasket gaps and corner joints are a separate time item. Once dust and water have hardened together, they take longer than the pane itself.
Saying which of these you want avoids surprises. Scope details are covered on the glass cleaning page.
Floors and large panes in a villa
In villas, workload often—though not always—follows the number of floors and the size of the panes. A tall pane facing the stairwell is not the same job as three ordinary living-room windows: equipment, working position and the need to move furniture all differ. When describing a villa, it helps to state separately:
- How many floors need glass work, and roughly how many sashes per floor.
- Whether there are fixed (non-opening) panes, and how their outer faces are reached.
- Whether floor space can be cleared under panes taller than a door.
- Whether the glass is to be done on the same day as the rest of the house.
How the order of work is set by floor, room, stairs and use is handled under villa cleaning; pool maintenance is not included.
Square metres do not tell the whole story
Two flats of identical size can take very different amounts of time. The usual reasons: number of sashes and joinery type, how long the soiling has been there, whether items in front of windows must be moved, curtains and blinds, access to water and electricity, and whether the home is occupied. Paint or mortar residue after renovation is a sensitivity matter of its own and should be discussed together with post-construction cleaning.
How the other services relate
Home cleaning covers kitchen, bathroom and living areas. Office and workplace cleaning covers work areas, shared spaces and toilets, with a limit on electronics and documents. Empty-flat cleaning focuses on cupboard interiors, bathroom, kitchen and floors. Apartment and estate cleaning concerns stairs, landings and entrances. For upholstery washing the fabric label is checked, and no stain removal is promised.
Checkpoints before and after
- Before: clear the space in front of windows and remove fragile items; confirm water and electricity are usable.
- Before: share the manufacturer's care instructions for joinery or coated glass if you have them; no method can be assumed suitable without them.
- Before: review together where outer-face access would come from.
- After: look at the panes in daylight from different angles; check track bottoms and frame corners separately.
- After: note anything that looks like a lasting mark, scratch or coating difference and ask for an on-site assessment.
Is that mark a scratch or a stain?
This cannot be told reliably by sight or by simple home tests. Scratches, fixed mineral deposits and factory coatings are different things and need expert assessment on site.
Can tracks and frames be requested on their own?
Yes. Clarifying from the start whether both glass faces are included keeps the timing and the order of work realistic.
